We built this platform to be the most reliable, feature-complete business OS an Indian merchant can find — at a price that's fairer than hiring one extra staff member. This refund policy reflects the confidence we have in what we've built, and the honesty we believe every merchant deserves.
Dgtol subscription fees are non-refundable once charged.
We say this clearly and without apology — not because we're indifferent, but because we're confident. Here's the logic:

If your subscription costs ₹599 but helps you collect even one overdue khata entry that's been sitting unpaid for weeks, it has already paid for itself. Most merchants recover their subscription fee on their first collected due alone.

Our commitment to loyal merchants: if you're facing a genuine hardship — a technical issue on our side, a double billing, something not working as promised — reach out at support@dgtol.in before you give up. We do not abandon the merchants who built their business on our platform.
While subscriptions are non-refundable as a general rule, we will always correct the following situations fairly and promptly:
If you were charged twice for the same billing period due to a technical or processing error on our side, we will investigate immediately and issue a correction — either as a credit to your next billing cycle or as a direct refund via the original payment method, whichever is faster. Contact us within 7 days of discovering the duplicate charge.
If the core Dgtol Platform (order management, payment links, Khata, invoice generation) is completely unavailable for more than 24 continuous hours due to a fault on our side — not due to AWS infrastructure, Cashfree, third-party internet providers, or scheduled maintenance announced in advance — we will issue a proportional service credit to your next billing cycle.
"Unavailable" means: you cannot log in, cannot view or manage orders, and cannot use core business functions. Partial degradation of a single feature (e.g., analytics loading slowly) does not qualify for credit.
If you did not create or authorise a Dgtol account and a subscription was charged to your payment method without your consent, report it to support@dgtol.in immediately with your bank statement as evidence. Verified unauthorised charges will be refunded within 7 business days.
Platform fees charged on buyer transactions based on our pricing structure are non-refundable once a transaction is processed. These fees cover payment routing, infrastructure, and gateway costs that are incurred at the moment the transaction occurs and cannot be recovered after the fact.
If a buyer requests a refund for their purchase and you choose to refund the buyer, Cashfree's standard refund policy applies to the gateway-level transaction amount. Dgtol's platform fee component is separately incurred and is not returned.
Merchants are advised to factor platform fees into their pricing or clearly communicate refund terms to their own buyers before accepting orders.

Include: your registered email address, the charge date, amount, and a brief description of the issue.
We respond to all billing queries within 2 business days.
You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting support@dgtol.in. Your account will remain active until the end of the current paid billing period. No charges are levied after cancellation, and no partial-period refunds are issued for unused days.
After cancellation, your data remains accessible for 30 days, after which it is permanently deleted per our Privacy Policy (subject to legal retention obligations).
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Indian Contract Act, 1872, or any other applicable Indian law, to the extent such rights apply to business-to-business software subscriptions.
If you believe a charge was unfair, deceptive, or in violation of law, you may contact the relevant consumer forum or the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) in addition to contacting us directly. We will cooperate fully with any such proceedings.
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification and email with at least 14 days' notice before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
